Research Interests
John comes from a theoretical physics background and is currently in UKCEH's Hydrological Forecasting group which includes work on the Grid-to-Grid (G2G) hydrological model. Under the Hydro-JULES project he has been developing a method to use Cosmic Ray Neutron Sensors (CRNS) from the COSMOS-UK network to produce estimates of snow water equivalent.
